This has been found to not only help you track your progress but bring to light some bad habits and keep you motivated towards achieving your goals.

Everybody has a different and unique situation where genetics, body shape, current level of fitness and lifestyle all play a role. Having an expert on your team is a really good idea. You want to be equipped with the right knowledge, advice that’s tailored to you and support of a good mentor -This is a recipe for success.

Plan your meals for the week, make a grocery list and stick to it when you go shopping. Make sure you include plenty of fresh foods- in season fruit and vegetables, legumes, whole grains, lean meats, fish and low fat dairy products. Only go down the aisles that you need, processed packaged foods are often high is sugar and fat (often more expensive too) so try to keep these to a minimum.

There is a lot to learn from the product label, as long as you know how to read it. Remember to select the healthiest products always: Look at the claim on the label, check the nutrition information panel and read the ingredients list.

There are tremendous benefits in even a small amount of physical activity each day. This combined with healthy eating, it is the easiest way to reduce your waist measurement and lower your risk of chronic disease.
